Man accused of kidnapping North Carolina woman now believed to be armed and dangerous, possibly in Georgia

Authorities in Georgia are currently searching for a North Carolina man who is considered armed and dangerous.

Authorities in Cherokee County, North Carolina, are currently on the lookout for Jordan Nathaniel Hedden. Hedden is wanted in both North Carolina and Tennessee on multiple charges.

Investigators revealed on Thursday that a North Carolina woman had offered a ride to two hitchhikers, identified as Hedden and Stephanie Neace. However, upon entering the woman’s car, Hedden allegedly kidnapped her by forcefully pushing her into the back seat and assuming control of the vehicle.

Neace is currently in custody in Georgia after being arrested. The authorities have not disclosed the exact location where she is being held.

On Saturday, authorities reported that Hedden had entered a home in Tennessee while carrying a firearm. The gun was later seized, and he then proceeded to hitchhike into Georgia.

No further details were given by officials regarding the incident in Tennessee.

Hedden stands at a height of 5 foot 8 inches and maintains a weight of 130 pounds. With his captivating green eyes and brown hair, he is reportedly traveling on foot or bicycle.

Authorities have classified Hedden as armed and dangerous, cautioning against approaching him.
